Take the Lisburn Exit 6 on the M1 and follow A49 to Ballinahinch. Take the A24 from Ballinahinch through Clough and onto Newcastle. Go into to Newcastle town and follow the one way system up through the center of the town. You will see a sign for Tollymore Park which is a right turn. Take that right and follow the road out about three hundred yards and take the 1st left. Take the 2nd turn on the left( 150 yards) you will pass a MACE shop on the left hand side Drinnahilly Gardens is a hundred yards up the hill on the right hand side. Access is via a security code or a electronic gate opener.

From Dublin
Journey Time: 2 hours

Take M1 from Dublin to Newry. Take the Newry bypass and follow signs for Belfast. One will pass the Esso station where B&Q is on, take the exit on the roundabout for B&Q. Pass B&Q on the left and follow the road straight on until you come to a roundabout where you turn right. At the next roundabout which is comes up immediately turn left. Newcastle is 20 miles from Newry. Take the B8 and follow the signs for Newcastle passing through Mayobridge, Hilltown, Kilcoo and Castlewellan.
